The Creative Data Difference
At Creative Data, we're Business Performance
Management specialists. That means we'll do what it takes to make
sure your users get acceptable, measureable, and predictable
performance from your corporate information systems, day after day.
We'll do what it takes to make sure that users have what they need,
when they need it.
Business Performance Management (BPM) is a combination of
several important things, and it's our skill with all of these
together that you'll appreciate.
-
Application
Performance Management, or APM: Today's business applications
involve multiple tiers, like Web, Java, .NET, and Database. If
these are managed independently, as individual technologies,
performance problems and finger-pointing are guaranteed. We
manage the performance of the entire application, correlating
performance across all technology tiers, giving quick visibility
into problems when they happen, and accurate root-cause analysis
to get things back on track
-
Architecture and
design: the work that we do is well thought out and resilient in
the face of change. Systems designed by Creative Data stand the
test of time. Our attention to detail means "no surprises"
-
Archiving, discovery
and reporting: It's not news that there is an information
explosion. We're moving past "terabytes" before some people
learn what that word means! We'll work to understand your
business and legal requirements for information retention, then
implement archiving strategies that meet those goals. Just as
important, we'll make sure you can get the information back,
too, when you need it again
-
Training, mentoring,
knowledge transfer, communication: there's no ego here. We want
you to know what we know, and be fully up to speed when we're
done. Constant communication during engagements, combined with
training – either formal classroom training, or informal
knowledge transfer – lets us accomplish that
You can't just declare yourself a BPM expert –
you have to earn that. And that's what we've done at Creative Data.
Since we began in 1995, we've been in the middle of large, corporate
systems. For years, we designed and built large corporate Data
Warehouses and web-enabled information systems for Fortune 500
companies. With every system we delivered, however, we found
ourselves at a beginning instead of an ending. Our systems worked
great, but there were constant roadblocks to overall corporate
rollout: integration problems, performance problems as systems
merged and evolved, and so on. We found that we were spending as
much time with our fingers in other systems as we were with our own,
all to help our customers. Over time we moved from large-scale data
warehouse development to the broader role of Business Performance
Management experts, by making end-to-end systems work as intended.
And our customers are glad we did!
